Good morning, Huskers Fans!

Anthony Colandrea has his QB1 label now, and fall camp wrapped with a scrimmage that answered plenty about depth on both sides of the ball.

THE RUNDOWN

🏈 Colandrea Named the Starter

Matt Rhule named Anthony Colandrea the starting quarterback for Nebraska football as fall camp wrapped up Saturday.

Colandrea transferred in from UNLV last January after earning Mountain West Offensive Player of the Year.

The announcement closes the book on a quarterback competition that's been simmering since he first arrived on campus.

Husker fans spent all offseason wondering who'd take that first snap, and now they finally have their answer.

🏈 Camp Ends With Answers, and Questions

Nebraska football wrapped its final scrimmage of fall camp Saturday, and Matt Rhule came away with real clarity on his roster.

Gunnar Gottula has start on the offensive line locked down, while the running back race to replace Emmett Johnson remains unsettled.

Rhule also praised his retooled defensive staff, saying the Blackshirts finally have the depth they lacked a year ago.
